About us

Joe and Carol Shelton started driving in 2010 and, after driving for another company, decided to buy their own truck. At the beginning of 2014 Carol got out of the truck to take care of the day to day operations of the business and Dean Shelton joined his father in the truck and drove with him for a year while Evin Watkins began to learn the ins and outs of our company's administrative work. While we enjoyed the road it seemed that we could better serve our drivers from an office setting and so we got off of the road. Because we have driven we can better understand many issues and perspectives of our drivers.

R2R Associates, LLC is a family owned and operated business that strives to make our driver’s careers as hassle-free as possible. By providing them with well-maintained equipment, we hope to decrease their downtime for maintenance related issues. By purchasing trucks with large sleepers and extra features we hope to provide more comfort and amenities that make life on the road more enjoyable. By tracking mileage and equipment hours we are able to inform our drivers well in advance of scheduled maintenance procedures and required training, making it so that they can decide the best times and places to stop. 

We take great pride in our fleet and always strive to keep our fleet as well maintained as possible. Maintenance and safety are always our top priorities. If something breaks we strive to get it repaired as quickly and conveniently as possible. With a 24 hour maintenance hotline, we are able to serve our drivers expediently.
